The innovative VERIS Accelabar® is a cutting-edge primary flow element that integrates two differential pressure technologies to accurately measure flow within operating ranges that were previously unattainable with a single DP flow meter. This advanced device is capable of producing high differential pressures to measure gas, liquids, and steam at turndowns that were previously out of reach, all without the need for straight run requirements.
It features a unique toroidal inlet nozzle design paired with the VERIS Verabar® averaging pitot. The patented geometry of the nozzle accelerates, linearizes, and stabilizes the velocity profile measured by the VERIS Verabar®. The VERIS Verabar® is located after a “settling distance” and in the throat of the VERIS Accelabar®. It accurately measures and significantly increases the differential pressure, expanding the operating range (turndown). The VERIS Accelabar® has a linear, Reynolds number independent flow coefficient with an accuracy of up to ±0.50%.
